A deal on sexy stiletto Italian black leather thigh boots

With a Buy It Now price of $699, these sexy stiletto black leather thigh boots sold for $283.99. These size 7 boots by Icone were made in Italy and feature some of the sexiest, spikiest heels and pointy toes I've seen in a long time. The leather looks extremely soft, although I'm not sure how I feel about the metal Icone plate near the top of the shaft.

Someone got a great deal on a pair of boots the seller stated were only worn once and retailed for over $2,000! These super sexy boots would have been very tempting in the right size!

Win some, lose some - a tale of two glove auctions

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these NWT Dents long black leather gloves (photos above) for a very impressive $255.23. These size 8/large gloves measured 24" long and feature very nice stitching detail on the back of the hand as well as nice button detailing on the mosquetaire opening. It's nice to see that brand name, quality leather gloves can still fetch a good price, especially since these are the same gloves I saw retail for $200 at Harrod's a few years ago.

Two weeks later, another eBay leather seller sold the exact same gloves (photos below) in the exact same size and only managed to get the opening bid price of $124.99, less than half of the previous sale! Checking both auctions, I also noticed that both had the same exact wording in the title, both ended on the same day at nearly the same time, as well has had the same starting bids and shipping rates. Even the photos were similar! I always thought eBay was funny (fickle?) this way, that all else being equal, the exact same item can sell for such a different price.

Two similar but very different boots for $41 each

Interesting how two very different pairs of black leather knee-high boots both fetched exactly $41.00 each in auctions that ended a day apart.

These vintage size 9 boots from Wild Pair feature nice narrow stacked wooden heels, rounded toes, buckle detail, and a bright brass zipper.


These size 8.5 boots from Stuart Weitzman feature a nice spiky heel, pointy toes, wide strap with buckle detail and a wide cuff. The seller said she bought these last year for $300.

Vintage Frederick's boots still sell well

Although shipping was a little pricey at $15.00, these vintage 1980s black leather OTK boots sold for a decent $98.07. These size 9 boots look like vintage Frederick's of Hollywood boots.

The style and size were definitely appealing, but they ended up being out of my price range. The style of the toes and the spiky heels are both very nice. I also like how they can be cuffed and scrunched to create very different looks.

Vintage thigh boots fetch an impressive price

These vintage size 8 black leather thigh boots sold for an impressive $102.50.

The seller didn't state the brand and I can't quite tell for sure.

A great deal on a Vakko long black leather skirt

Someone got a great deal on a size 8 Vakko long black leather skirt with full-length two-way front zipper for only $22.52.

If you're tall enough to pull off this 34" long skirt, it would look great paired with a crisp white blouse and tall black boots, either riding or spiky.

A deal on Vintage Wild Pair black leather thigh boots

Although they were a very small size 5.5, someone got a great deal on these vintage Wild Pair thigh-high boots at $21.75. Actually, the seller said these were crotch high, as they measure an impressive 30" tall overall.

I've always really liked this style and never been able to get it in my size, or at least in my size at a price I wanted to pay. The pull-on styling makes for some very clean lines and nice cuffability is an added bonus.

Speaking of size 5.5 vintage Wild Pair boots, I really like this style too, but they are way overpriced with a Buy It Now price of $220.00!

More Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots continue to sell well

Even late in the season, the Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots continue to sell well.

These size 8.5 boots in a rare chocolate brown color and new with box sold for a deserving $505.00. Even the dust bag is impressive!



Even in a small size 6.5, these new-with-box boots sold for an impressive $400.00. Kudos to the photographer for getting some of the best non-professional photos of these boots I've seen!


Even worn a few times, these size 8 boots still sold for an impressive $330.00 (and got 39 bids!). To include the original box, the seller understandably requested an extra $15 for the added shipping.


And finally, just using boring stock photos, a seller in Hawaii sold a pair of size 9 boots NWOB for an impressive $400.00.

Wild Pair black leather crotch boots, nicely modeled

It's not very often we get to see the Wild Pair crotch boots modeled so well. eBay boot seller "ataleoftwofaces" sold these size 8 boots for their Buy It Now price of $248.00.

Some great text from the seller, too: This is a very rare pair of collectible Wild Pair black leather thigh boots (which are so tall they are actually crotch high) with 4 inch heels, in size 8 US. A UK seller sold these very nice vintage 1970s thigh-high boots for an impressive $164.95. These rare rust-colored boots are a size 38 and measure an impressive 29.5 inches tall counting the 4 inch narrow stacked heels. Somehow, it seems appropriate that the seller was named "vavavoome!"

Another favorite eBay boot seller "livefire" returns with sexy boots and some very nice modeling. I've always liked how she works her photos into one big collage.

These size 9 Guess "Rumala" OTK boots sold for their opening bid of $79.00. They look great paired with the black skirt.

Meanwhile, these size 8.5 Two Lips black leather OTK boots sold for $99.99. They look great modeled with both a black skirt (office look?) and skinny jeans (sexy date look!).

Classic leather dresses from a classic leather seller

Canadian eBay seller "leatherbill" is back after a long absence and selling some great leather dresses. Even with his stunning models, the dresses have sold for some surprisingly low prices. All three dresses remind me of the vintage Ambria leather dresses sold by Spiegel in the early 1990s.
