eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Hugo Boss long buckskin leather gloves for their starting price of $89.99. These gloves were a size medium (7 - 7.5) and measured an impressive 26.5 inches long. These remind me of some Marni long deerskin leather gloves from last season.

A deal on a rare North Beach Leather dress / jacket style

Someone got a great deal on this rare style North Beach Leather jacket which can double as a dress. This size 7/8 dress sold for only $67.50. For the price, I wish I would have put in a bid on this one!

I believe this was one of Michael Hoban's later styles. The two-way black zipper seems to be a rare feature on an NBL jacket / dress.

Of course, this would look incredible paired with a short NBL skirt and some sexy strappy heels.

Rare LaCrasia extra long black leather gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these rare LaCrasia long black leather opera gloves for $123.50. These gloves were a size 7.5 (M) and measured an impressive 26.75" long.

As a previous owner of LaCrasia gloves, I will vouch that they're not fancy (unlined and unhemmed), but the leather is very soft and the gloves are well-made to last a long time.

A deal on Wild Pair unworn crotch boots for $88

Some lucky buyer got a pair of the Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots in MINT, UNWORN condition for $76.39 plus $12.29 shipping.

What was interesting is that the seller, Seattle Goodwill, listed these as a size 5. However, upon looking at the seller's photos, I saw that they had misread the size and they were actually a size 8.



Interesting that the seller was Seattle Goodwill, so obviously these showed up as a donation to that store. With the except of a designer pair of Bally black leather knee-high boots I purchased at a thrift store several years ago, I haven't seen any boots worth buying at our local thrift stores. I can't imagine my reaction if I saw any thigh-high boots at a thrift store, especially the holy grail of thigh boots, the Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots!!!

Of course, my other thought is, "Who buys boots like these and doesn't wear them and then gives them to a thrift store?!"

Classic black North Beach Leather zip-front dress

eBay seller "leatherbill" sold this classic black North Beach Leather dress for $129.

This dress was a size 6 and features a two-way front zipper. Of this style of dress, I actually prefer the style without the buckle in back.

Enzo Angiolini black leather OTK boots, nicely modeled

One of my favorite eBay boot sellers made her first reappearance in a long time. This seller uses great photo collages to show her boots modeled with both jeans and skirts. Unfortunately, she removed the collage before I could post it to this blog. Fortunately, the auction listing photo was still there.

She sold these very nicely modeled Enzo Angiolini black leather OTK boots (size 8.5) for $82.00.

Nordstrom long black leather gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Nordstrom long black leather gloves for $90.

These 21.5" gloves were a size medium / 7.5 and new without tags. This is the style from a few years back as opposed to Nordstrom's newer long leather gloves which feature a mosquetaire opening at the wrist and top-stitching detail at the opening. Of the two, I prefer this plain style.

Dents long black leather opera gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Dents long black leather gloves for $102.50.

These 24" long gloves were a size medium (7.5) and new without tags. These "made in England" gloves normally retail for near $200 US.

These gloves have great details in the buttons and stitch work.
