Alaia black leather gauntlet gloves

These rare Alaia black leather gauntlet gloves sold for an impressive $305.00.  They used gloves were a size 7.5.  They remind me of something a super heroine or villain would wear.

I've wanted some leather gauntlet gloves for a long time, but this style doesn't quite do it for me.

NIB Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots sell for $670!

These size 8.5 Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" black leather OTK boots received 24 bids and sold for a whopping $670, more than the original $650 retail.  My guess is because these boots were 1) a very popular size, 2) new with the original box, 3) no longer made by Stuart Weitzman, and 4) a rare combination of all of the above.

I do take a little offense that the seller listed the original retail on these at $938, considerably higher than I've ever seen these sell for at full retail.

Vintage North Beach Leather biker trench coat

This vintage 1980s North Beach Leather coat features a nice mix of biker and trench styling.  This size XS coat sold for $63.37.  I especially like the black zippers and the tall stand-up collar.  Nice modeling, too!

A rare appearance by Classic Leatherwear gloves

Even without good pictures, these rare Classic Leatherwear black leather opera gloves sold for a very impressive $255.01.   These gloves were extra long at 28.5" as well as a popular size 8.

Vintage 1980s Italian OTK boots by Mary Popps

These vintage 1980s Italian black leather over-the-knee boots by Mary Popps sold for a very impressive $237.50, especially in a small size 6.5  I'm not so sure about the red piping but I really like the 30" height, nice cuffs, straight lines, and sexy spiked heels.

I think these fetched such a high price because these boots very rarely appear on eBay.  They also appear to be in excellent condition!

A real deal on vintage Wild Pair crotch-high boots

Even with $20 shipping, someone got an incredible deal on these vintage Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots for only $53!  These size 6.5 boots appear to be in excellent condition.  The seller said that were circa 1984, which is the first time I've seen a year attached to these boots.

I also enjoyed the seller's text: Slip your feet into these boots and drive your man crazy!

Carolina Amato black leather opera gloves

For $81.55, someone got a good deal on these Carolina Amato black leather opera gloves offered by eBay glove seller "junkonsale."  These size 7.5 gloves are silk-lined and with the exception of missing one button, appear to be in mint condition.  The seller estimated these to be from the late 1980s - early 1990s.

Vintage North Beach Leather trench sells well

This vintage North Beach Leather trench coat didn't sell in its original listing with a starting bid of $250 and a Buy It Now price of $275.  However, when the seller re-listed the coat, it ended up selling for $210.  Even in a small size 5/6, it's hard to go wrong with a North Beach Leather trench coat, especially one in what appears to be excellent condition.

Vintage Wild Pair thigh boots sell well

eBay boot seller "marmfrut" sold these very nice vintage 1980s Wild Pair black leather over-the-knee boots for her starting bid of $129.99.  I would've bid on these great boots, especially in a size 8.5, but they were a little pricey for me.  I especially like the cuffability and very sexy spiked heels!

Also, kudos to the seller for more great modeling!

Vintage 1980s purple North Beach Leather dress

This vintage 1980s purple North Beach Leather dress in a size 7/8 sold for a very impressive $393.00. 

I don't know whether it was because of the rare color or the amazing condition or both, but I'm glad to see that my favorite style of North Beach Leather dress has held its value for nearly 25 years!

Current season Nordstrom leather opera gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these current season Nordstrom long black leather opera gloves for a very impressive $149.99.  The gloves were a rare size Extra Large and even though they were pre-owned, still sold for just $30 less than their original retail of $178.

These 21.5 long gloves feature herringbone detail that runs the entire length of these glace lambskin gloves.  Unless most Nordstrom long leather gloves I've seen, these are actually silk-lined.
