A $50 deal on a Vakko black leather trench coat

For the starting bid of $49.79, someone got a very good deal on this size medium Vakko black leather trench coat. I'm intrigued by the velcro-closure wide black leather belt, which doesn't appear to be the original belt from the coat.

Vintage Wild Pair thigh boots still sell well

These vintage size 8 Wild Pair black leather boots sold for an impressive $153.50. I especially like the buckle and strap detail near the top of the shaft as well as the sexy spiky heels. Back when they gave boots creative names, this style is called "Prime Time."

Kudos to the seller for a nice mix of modeled photos and straight product pictures. There's also some very nice modeling here, especially with the red leather pants.

Love the styling of this Banana Republic black leather jacket, especially the pocket and belt details. This size small jacket sold for its starting bid of $69.99.

If only this had been in my size!

Vintage 1970s over-the-knee Italian boots

These vintage 1970s burgundy stacked heel over-the-knee boots sold for a decent $72.88. Some lucky buyer got a pair of quality-Italian made boots in a popular size 9. These will look great worn over skinny jeans.

It just goes to show how some boot styles never go out of style.

Nordstrom long leather gloves plentiful on eBay

There seems to be an abundance of Nordstrom long leather gloves on eBay these days, selling for a range of prices.

These large size 8.5 gloves look worn and a little stretched, but still managed to sell for $72.07. The seller said these gloves measured 20" long.

I found the seller's text interesting: Very well used but would still be great for running, biking, cleaning, gardening, etc. These dressy gloves for cleaning? gardening? Hmmm...


From the same seller as above, these gloves appear to be in excellent, like new condition, yet they sold for only $59.00. They're a size 7.5 and the seller said they measured 21.5" long.



Someone got a real deal on these long brown leather gloves by Nordstrom for only $29.88. These nicely modeled gloves were a size 7.5 and measured 21" long.

Impressive sale on vintage black leather opera gloves

These vintage 1950s/1960s long black leather opera gloves sold for a very impressive $127.50.

These size 7 gloves measured an impressive 24" long and were made in Spain by Lauffer.

Beautiful Anne Klein vintage Italian dress boots

These Anne Klein vintage Italian leather dress boots were some of the best I've seen in eBay some time. I wanted to bid on them, but the seller ended the auction early and sold them to some lucky person for $69.99. Too bad for the seller, as I was prepared to bid much higher.

Believe it or not, these beautiful boots were new and a size 9, both very appealing to me. Being made in Italy, I'm sure they were well-made and the leather was exquisite. I especially like the clean lines with no seams and the straight stovepipe shaft. I also like the very sexy spiked heels and classic almond toes. These boots would look stunning with a skirt or paired with a sexy trench coat.

These do remind me of similar vintage Lenni, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Sesto Meucci boots I've seen on eBay and owned over the years. Oh well, I can only hope to see a very similar pair on eBay sometime again soon!
