Some holiday deals on high-quality long black leather gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" continues to offer some exceptional quality long black leather gloves for sale.

At $34.00, someone got a stellar deal on these size medium, new without tags, long black leather gloves by Cache.  The photo collage is a nice touch as well!



These stunning 27" long black leather opera gloves by Fernando Berlin were another deal at $89.99. If these new with box gloves had been larger than a size medium, I would have put in a bid!

These vintage Bergdorf Goodman Italian leather opera gloves sold for $142.99.  These 24" inch gloves were a size 8 and silk lined...nice!

In true opera glove style, these featured a mosquetaire button-opening at the wrists.

The seller said these were purchased at an estate sale in Los Angeles.  I'd love to go to an estate sale and come across some stunning gloves like these!

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" thigh-high boots reappear on eBay and sell well!

My favorite Stuart Weitzman boot style, the "Hilo" black leather thigh-high boot has made another resurgence on eBay.  This style is no longer manufactured and can be hard-to-find, especially in larger sizes.  That said, these boots usually fetch a good price on eBay.

These size 10 boots sold for an impressive $350.00.  The seller stated that these were "like new" and literally only worn a few minutes.

These New With Box size 8 boots sold for a deserving $425.00.

However, most impressive was this PRE-OWNED size 10 pair selling for their Buy It Now price of $499.99 plus another $14.99 for shipping.  They do appear to be in very good condition and this pair was snatched up before I even opened by "saved item" e-mail from eBay!

A deal on some vintage beautiful OTK boots from Town and Country

These vintage Town & Country boots were a real deal at their Buy It Now price of $35.00 plus $10 shipping.  These boots are shorter versions of the famous Wild Pair crotch-high boots and can be worn cuffed at the knee or uncuffed and over-the-knee.  At this price, I would have snapped these up had they been my size instead of a size 8.

Dolce & Gabbana thigh-high boots make a rare appearance and sell well!

eBay boot seller "livefire" sold these absolutely stunning Dolce & Gabbana black leather thigh-high boots for a deserving $579.99, about half of their original $1,200 retail.   As the boots only had one bid, the $579.99 appears to have been the starting price.  She has listed these before but ended previous auctions early for some reason.

As always with this seller, the modeling is top-notch and she's paired these boots nicely with a short tweed skirt (and leather top?), a fuchsia and black print skirt, and a grey pencil skirt.  All three looks would make for a great date look (especially the short skirt) or a day at the office (especially the pencil skirt).  The pencil skirt is intriguing because you'd have no idea how tall those boots really are!  Either way, talk about head-turning looks!

I've owned and sold two identical pairs of these boots in both smooth and suede leather on eBay a couple of years ago and miss having these beautiful boots in my collection!  It would have been tempting to bid on this auction had these not been too small in a size EUR 38 / US 8.  The boots appear to be in excellent, barely worn condition and the inclusion of the original dust bag is a bonus!

Vintage very tall Wild Pair boots!

There have been a few recent deals on really tall vintage Wild Pair boots.  Nicely photographed, but none modeled.

These never-worn, rare chap boots in a size 6 sold for $96.90.  In a larger size, I think these boots in this rare style and condition could have sold for closer to $200!

The same seller listed these size 6 crotch-high boots with a Buy It Now price of $50.00, which is what they sold for.  I could have snapped these up at that price, but the size was way too small to have good resale value.  These were listed as pre-owned, but appear to be in excellent, rarely-worn condition.  Again, I've seen these boots in larger sizes sell for $275 and up, especially during the holiday season.

And to show off the great height of both of these boots, the yardstick in the photo was a very nice touch!

Another auction for Wild Pair crotch-high boots, also in a size 6.  These nicely-photographed boots sold for $93.61.  Although they were listed as pre-owned, these appear to be in mint, barely-worn condition, especially the soles.

Although these were listed as Wilson's Leather, I'm pretty sure Wilson's never sold boots (although it would be a great compliment to their leather apparel)!  These studded black leather thigh-high boots are classic Wild Pair.  Although these size 8 boots were listed with a Buy It Now price of $89.99, they sold for a Best Offer price.

A deal on a trendy black leather moto-style jacket

Someone got a great deal on this very trendy black leather moto-style jacket by Bod & Christensen.  This size Large jacket sold for only $66.00 plus inexpensive $5.25 shipping!  Identical jackets by this maker are currently listed for $200-$300 on eBay.  Even though it was pre-owned, it appears to be in excellent condition. 

I especially love the high-zip neck and the totally different looks that can be created by zipping the coat to different heights.  Knowing that it went for a real deal, I wish I would have put in a bid on this trendy leather jacket!  It would look amazing paired with skinny jeans and tall leather boots!

A seller lists some very nice vintage Italian boots with a crazy Buy It Now price of $600!

These rare vintage 1970s-1980s size 8.5 Italian leather boots by Pollini were originally listed with a Buy It Now price of $600.  As attractive as these boots are, I thought they were tremendously overpriced...by about $500!  As it turns out, these sold for a Best Offer, and I'd really like to know how much the buyer got the seller to come down from that crazy Buy It Now price!

What I like about these boots, and most vintage Italian boots, is the quality leather, straight shaft, and narrow stacked heel.  These would look amazing paired with skinny jeans or a pencil skirt!
