Even in the heat of summer, eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these size 7.5 vintage Italian long black leather gloves for a very impressive $182.50. For vintage gloves, these appear to be in excellent condition.
I especially enjoyed the seller's text about the origin of the gloves: We purchased this pair last year from a seller on the east coast that found these gloves at a church yard sale. The gloves were stored in the church for many years before being discovered. Interesting place to find a pair of long leather gloves!
After reading this, I suspect these gloves were left in the church when women used to wear gloves to church regularly. They probably ended up in the "lost and found" and were never claimed and ended up at the church yard sale. An interesting find, indeed!
