A pair of boots sells for $11,000?! Really?

I'm still not sure whether this auction ended with a "real" winner or not as these Enzo Brera boots sold for an astonishing $11,000.  This is by far the most I've ever seen a pair of boots sell for, on eBay, or at full retail!  The bidding started at $139 and it appears that two bidders got into a bidding war and drove the price up to $11,000 with 30 bids.

These nicely modeled new-with-box size 38 boots were sold by a designer boot seller in Russia.
