An amazing deal on vintage Dolce and Gabbana OTK boots

FROM VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE:

Someone got an amazing deal on these vintage black leather Dolce and Gabbana OTK boots from a seller in France.

These size 37.5 boots sold for $201.  These vintage 1990s boots originally retailed for $1,200 and typically sell for $400-$600 on eBay.

Kudos on the modeling of these stunning boots as well!

A deal on rare vintage Dolce and Gabbana thigh-high boots!

Someone got a real deal on these vintage Dolce and Gabbana black leather thigh-high boots!  This size 37.5 pair sold for $130.38.  The seller listed the boots as "new without box" and they do appear to be in excellent condition.  I only wish the seller had provided pictures of these gorgeous boots modeled as well as uncuffed.

I've watched these boots for years and everything I've seen indicates that the original retail was around $1,200 when they first appeared in the 1990s.  The seller shows a price sticker of $1,115 on this pair.  I saw these boots in a larger size sell for $460 a couple of seasons ago on eBay, so they do have good retail value in the right sizes.  I also had a woman in Denver tell me she bought a pair at Loehmann's for $199!

What's unusual about this pair is the decorative chain detail around the ankles.  I'm pretty sure it's not original and if I were to buy these, the chains would come off!  I'm not against a simple ankle chain to add a little bling to boots, but this style is a little too over-the-top for me and detracts from these gorgeous boots.

These stunning boots arely appear on eBay, and more often in suede than smooth leather.  It's also challenging to find pairs in larger sizes.

If you own these boots or want these boots as much as I do, please be sure to leave a comment!

Vintage yellow NBL jacket paired nicely with black leather pants

This vintage 1990s Chanel-style creamy yellow leather jacket by North Beach Leather (size 6) sold for it's starting bid of $49.99.  It would make a great "leather suit" look paired with a matching skirt or pants, the seller went for a slightly edgier look by modeling it with some sharp black leather pants. While I'd normally think the gold toggle closures were distracting, they give this jacket a very rich feel.

Very rare Chanel black leather OTK riding boots

These vintage 1996 Chanel black leather over-the-knee riding style boots rarely appear on eBay, and when they do, expect them to fetch an amazing price.  As these were my size (40 / US 9), I put in a bid, but it was way below the $710 these ended up selling for.  This very popular item received 31 bids.

What could have been extra-appealing about these is that, except for the height, the styling is very unisex.  I could very easily see a man purchasing these as some very high-end riding boots!

It appears from the auction text that the lucky seller was the original owner:
Purchased in 1996 these authentic Chanel boots are still gorgeous, black leather, they look like over the top English riding boots. CC logo on the front, marked on the bottom Chanel stamp, they have been re soled, they have a great distressed look, lined in leather. Claudia Schiffer modeled similar boots on the runway in 1996.

Classic sexy black leather OTK boots

From very unisex boots in the two previous posts to very feminine ones here.

The seller didn't state the brand, but these very nicely modeled size 10 boots sold for an impressive $127.50.

Meanwhile, these vintage Northbound Leather OTK boots with very sexy spiked heels sold for $87. The buyer stated that she purchased these in Toronto in the 1990s. I have to admit, I like seeing them paired with the fishnet stockings and plaid skirt in the second photo!

I would've bid on these great boots, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't manage the 5-inch stiletto heels!
