An impressive sale on a pair of long black leather opera gloves

These long black leather opera gloves sold received 18 bids and sold for $152.50, which is especially impressive considering they were vintage.

These gloves were a size 7.5, measured 23.5" long, made in France, and featured a mosquetaire opening at the wrist.

1969 black leather thigh-high boots nicely modeled

A seller in the UK sold these stunning1969 brand Italian black leather thigh-high boots for $473.  Obviously popular, this auction received 21 bids.

These size 7 boots were new with the box and only worn for these photos.

Super sexy extra pointy toes, stiletto heels, and nice modeling all added up to an impressive sale!  I wish the seller had stated the height of the shafts as it looks like these went a foot over her knees!

Now if only the seller had provided more photos!

A deal on a very nice vintage Neiman Marcus black leather trench coat

Even with pricey $20 shipping, for $80, someone got a deal on a very nice vintage black leather trench coat from Neiman Marcus.  I'm sure this coat was originally more than $500 given the high-end store it came from.

I especially like the belted style and the large collar which could also be worn up.  If only this had been modeled!

An eBay boot seller returns with a stunning pair of thigh-highs

eBay boot seller "marmfrut" sold these vintage black leather thigh-high boots for an impressive $139.50.  These sexy boots were a size 8 and although she didn't state a maker, they look like vintage Frederick's of Hollywood boots.

What's not to like?  Pull-on styling with cleaning lines, sexy spiked heels, and nicely pointed toes.  Oh, and these appear to be in pristine condition.  These also featured stretch inside the top cuff to help them stay up and an impressive 27" tall with 4" spiked heels.  If these had only been in my size, I would have put in a really nice bid!

As usual with this seller, she provided lots of photos and the boots were superbly modeled!  I continue to wonder where she gets her amazing inventory!

Without a doubt, the nicest pair of vintage boots I've seen on eBay in quite awhile!

The lucky winner already provided some nice feedback as these were purchased for his girlfriend.  The way the feedback is worded, I have to wonder if the buyer was in the US or a foreign country.

An impressive sale on Ines black leather opera gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Ines black leather opera gloves for their Buy It Now price of $293.99.  These gloves were a size medium, silk-lined, and measured an impressive 26" long.  The almost $300 selling price is especially impressive considering these were pre-owned.  The seller stated that these were more than $400 on the Ines website.

While these are very nice gloves, I'm not sure why the maker of such a high-end pair of gloves had to use a horizontal seam (see second photo) near the wrist.  It's like these were originally a wrist-length pair of gloves and the manufacturer decided to make them opera length after the fact.  For me, this horizontal seam on long gloves can often be a deal-breaker, especially on expensive gloves.

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" OTK boots continue to sell well

One of my all-time favorite boot styles, the Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" OTK boots, continue to sell well.  Even though Nordstrom re-released them last season in suede, the smooth leather style which has not been produced for several years now, continues to sell well.  Without a doubt, these are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned and look great paired with skinny jeans and a black leather jacket!

This size 8.5 pair, in good pre-owned condition, received 43 bids and sold for $226.50.

This "new with defects" pair in a size 9.5 sold for an impressive $350.  The seller indicated that there were minor scuff marks on the leather uppers (see bottom two photos).  Otherwise, this is the nicest condition I've seen these boots in awhile.

It makes me wonder if this seller in Hopkins, Minnesota, has access to a Stuart Weitzman Factory Outlet store as they have several new and "new with defects" pairs of Weitzman boots listed for sale.  These boots with slight blemishes would definitely be the type to appear in an outlet store.
