Classic vintage 1980s 9 West OTK boots make a rare appearance

These vintage late 1980s OTK boots by 9 West sold for $59.99.  These boots were a size 9 and made in Brazil.  The seller stated this style was called "Starlight."

These boots measure 25" high with a very walkable 3" heel.  These have some nice slouch to them and I've also seen them worn cuffed.  These appear to be in exceptional condition, especially for boots that are around 30 years old.  The seller even posted a photo of their original box.  Also, kudos to the seller for nice modeling to show how they look with both solid and patterned tights.

I originally saw these boots listed in a Macy's California ad around 1985, I think.  It seems like the original price was $200.

Someone got a very well-made pair of boots in a timeless style that will go great with everything from leggings to skinny jeans to skirts.  Considering the rare style, condition and large size, I'm a little disappointed that these didn't sell for more.

Prada long leather gloves sell for $235

These Prada long black leather opera gloves sold for their starting bid of $234.99.  These were previously listed for $249.99, but didn't sell, so the seller lowered the price.

These size 8 gloves were lightly worn and measured 23" long.  Made in Italy, of lambskin leather and a silk lining.  They featured classic three-line detailing on the backs of the hands and a unique snap closure at the wrists.

Kudos to the seller for the clear photos with the measurements.  Someone got a pair of very nice, designer long leather gloves.

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots sell for $125!

Even with pricey $23 shipping, someone got a good deal on these worn Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" black leather thigh-high boots for $125.  These were also a nice large size 40 / US 9.5M.

I originally thought the high shipping had to do with the fact that these came with their original blue Stuart Weitzman box.  However, the listing stated that the box was not included.  Sorry, but I think picturing the box in the listing is misleading if you then state it's not included.  Also, why the $23 shipping then?

Although these boots had some wear, they're about $75 cheaper than I've seen most pairs of this style sell for lately.  For $149, a great way to get into a pair of some of my all-time favorite boots!

However, I am curious why in this first photo does one boot look several inches taller than the other?!
