Vintage Italian black leather OTK boots by Piampiani sell for $100

These very nice vintage Italian black leather OTK boots sold for a deserving $100.  These boots were a size 40 / US 9 and nicely modeled.  They also had a full-length zipper running up the back of the shaft.  The quality of the leather looks exceptional and these boots were nicely modeled.

The flat heel and pointy toes on these would make a great addition to a musketeer or pirate costume for Halloween.

An inside view of these boots reveals they were made in Italy by Piampiani, a maker whose boots I've admired before.  Now I kind of wish I had bid on these!

As you can see from my previous post on these boots, this buyer got a real deal as a size 8.5 pair sold for nearly $225 almost ten years ago!

I also like how the seller modeled them not only with leggings, but with pants, albeit slightly baggy to wear tucked into boots.

Someone got a deal on these vintage 1980s Anne Klein over-the-knee boots for $65.00. These size 8 boots measured an impressive 27" tall. Oh, how I wish these had been in my size!

These size 6 boots were an impressive 26" tall. Had they been my size, I definitely would have put in a bid on these beautiful boots.

Modified Wild Pair crotch boots sell for $412!

These vintage Wild Pair crotch-high boots in a rare size 11 sold for a whopping $412.04. It appears that these are the classic Wild Pair high-heeled crotch boots modified with a flat-heeled Vibram sole. The modification was enough to make these rare and combined with the unisex styling and large size to fit a man or woman, fetch a high price on eBay.

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" OTK boots continue to sell well

Speaking of unisex boots, my current favorite style of OTK flat-heeled boot continues to sell very well on eBay, especially since it appears that Stuart Weitzman has discontinued the "Hilo" style. In my opinion, these boots are works of art, and get great reviews for their comfort and style.

These size 8 boots, new without box, sold for a respectable $406, considering the original retail is $650.

Flat-heeled OTK boots continue to sell very well on eBay.

These Nordstrom boots, made in Italy, are pretty close to my ideal pair of flat-heeled OTK boots. Nice height of 26 inches, good heels, great leather quality, and good cuffability.

These size 7 boots sold for an impressive $142.50.

Average quality flat OTK boots sell for what?

These size 9 boots sold for an impressive $118.00, especially since they appear to be identical to lower quality boots I've seen sell for much less, like $40.

Kudos to the seller for getting a very good price on some average quality boots.
