Someone gets a real deal on $795 designer Tamara Mellon "Icon" boots!

Considering they had a Buy It Now price of $300, someone practically stole these beautiful Tamara Mellon "Icon" boots for $90!  That can happen when you start the bidding at $1!

These $795 boots were in a rare tan and a large size 11.  Although I'd much prefer these in black, I'd snap these up at this price in this size just to try them even with the pricey $18 shipping.

I think it probably didn't help the sale that the seller provided very few photos of the actual boots for sale and instead posted mostly stock and blogger photos.

Vintage Dolce and Gabbana boots reappear after a long absence on eBay

It was a very pleasant surprise to see some of my all-time favorite boots reappear on eBay after a long absence.  These are vintage (1990s?) Dolce and Gabbana, only the knee-high version instead of thigh-high.  Even better, they were nicely modeled.

The listing is appropriately titled "Tall Black Dolce and Gabbana Leather Stiletto Boots Size 36 1/2."  They're only listed with a Buy It Now price of $449.99 with pricey $17.99 shipping, although the seller is accepting offers.

She goes on to describe them as "Gorgeous Italian leather boots. Soft leather lining.  Boots come with the original box and the dust bags. Very good looking. Shaft upper circumference is 14".  Total height is 21".  High heel is 4".  Made in Italy."

As someone who has owned this style, she's right, these are "gorgeous Italian leather boots" which are "very good looking."  I really wish she had posted photos of the original box and dust bags as I'd like to see what these boots originally came in.  A photo of the box would also be nice if it showed the original retail price!

Still, she provided some excellent still photos as well as modeled photos.  They look great paired with this print dress, which would make a stunning, although distracting, work outfit!  I can see a sales clerk at a high-end department store wearing this look, or an executive assistant, or even a hostess at a nice restaurant.

The seller is obviously into high-end boots as she currently has listed three other pairs ($149 Miu Miu, $249 Gucci, and $679 Yves Saint Laurent!), but none nearly as nice as these!

Vintage burgundy boots sell well!

Even without better photos and pricey $21 shipping, these vintage 1980s burgundy leather boots sold for an impressive $90.99.

These vintage boots were a size 8 and made in Spain for The Broadway.  I especially like the tall, narrow stacked heels and clean pull-on styling.  These would look great worn over skinny jeans.

It's nice to see that timeless boots like these are still sought after!
