A non-leather dress sells for $645!

Okay, so it's not leather, but this vintage 1940s sharkskin dress sold for a very impressive $645.00! Actually, in leather, this would make an amazing trenchcoat!

I especially like the wide wrap collar and slim skirt. And it looks belted, but it's not. This dress would be amazing as a dress or a coat in black lambskin leather.



As this seller / model often wears long black leather gloves and spike-heeled black leather boots for eBay pictures, it's too bad she didn't wear them with this stunning dress.

Kudos to this seller on such a successful sale!

Long leather gloves sell for $325!!!

Whoa!

Showing that quality, non-mass-produced long black leather gloves are in demand, a seller in Lawrence sold these black leather opera gloves for a whopping $325.00! More impressive are that the gloves appear to be vintage (the seller used the category of 1980s?) and the auction had minimal text (see below) and only the two photos above. This seller really has to be excited for getting this price for these gloves!

Deal on a North Beach Leather trench

Someone got a very high-quality, classic-style black leather trenchcoat by North Beach Leather for only $92.35. It was tempting to bid on even in a small size 6.

As it was listed as a duster instead of a trench, I wonder if it would have fetched a higher price as NBL long leather coats are rarely seen on eBay. As the weather is still hot in many places, I also wonder if it was too early to list a full-length leather trench and would have been better to wait for cooler weather.

With the military look in style this season, it's no wonder that this electric blue leather dress from North Beach Leather sold for an impressive $213.50, even in a size small.

Nice vintage black leather biker boots

These nice biker-style black leather thigh boots in a size 10 sold for an impressive $127.50. Even with considerable wear on the soles and a nice scrape on one of the toes, these impressive 27" tall boots are still very appealing.

Needless to say, these would look great worn over skinny jeans with a nice black leather jacket.

Gloves in demand, boots not so much

Quality long black leather gloves are obviously in demand on eBay right now as these long black Italian leather gloves by Solo Classe sold for an impressive $152.50. These gloves retail for $185.00 at www.soloclasse.com.

Size 8, Italian leather, silk-lined, almost 24" long, and still attached with the original string - pretty much perfect qualities when it comes to long leather gloves.

Interesting, as these rare English Leatherworks black leather thigh boots in a size 9 sold for only $91.00 earlier this same evening. Surprisingly low for boots of this quality in a popular size, not to mention an impressive 30" tall. It goes without saying that they would look stunning paired with the above gloves!
