A favorite seller returns with some rare Dolce & Gabbana OTK boots

One of my favorite eBay boot sellers "livefire" reappeared after a long absence and listed some of my all-time favorite boots.  These rare Dolce & Gabbana black leather over-the-knee boots (size 38) were listed with a starting bid of $750 and a Buy It Now price of $999.  However, the auction ended abruptly not long after it began.  I don't know if the boots were sold outside of eBay or the seller regretted listing these incredible boots and decided to keep them.  The original dust bag was also included in this auction.

The seller indicated these were from his wife's personal collection and that they originally retailed at the time of purchase for $1,400.  They look absolutely stunning modeled with a pink pencil skirt and black blouse!  I only wish the seller would have provided a few more photos!

These boots are works of art and, without a doubt, some of the sexiest I have ever seen!  A size 40 (US 10) pair of these sold for $460 last year during the holiday season.

PERFECT PAIRINGS: white charmeuse blouse, black leather pencil skirt, wide black leather belt

Dsquared designer black leather gauntlet gloves sell well

A UK seller in Edinburgh sold these hard-to-find Dqsuared2 designer black lambskin leather gauntlet gloves for a deserving $252.  These unique gloves were made in Italy, a medium size 7.5, and new with tags.  Too bad the modeled photos featured this style in another color.  While I think these are really cool, I'm not sure I could pull off this look!

PERFECT PAIRINGS: white blouse, skinny jeans, black leather riding boots

A very tempting Italian-made black leather dress

This Italian-made black leather dress (size 8) featuring a two-way zipper and funnel neck sold for its fixed price of $195.00.  I especially liked the clean styling - black zipper, padded shoulders and no embellishments.  I also liked the way you could create two totally different looks by wearing the collar open or completely zipped.  I really liked the style, which the seller described as "high-tech," but the size was too small and the fixed price was more than I wanted to pay.

PERFECT PAIRINGS: beret, black leather gloves, black pumps or knee-high black leather boots

A great Kenneth Cole black leather moto jacket style!

I really liked the styling of this Kenneth Cole black leather motorcycle jacket, which sold for $66.00 plus pricey $15.25 shipping.  If I had been in my size instead of a medium, I definitely would have put in a good bid.  This would look amazing paired with skinny jeans and black leather riding boots!

My favorite feature is the banded collar, which really reminds me of vintage Members Only jackets.  While I normally like epaulets, these might actually be a little too short.  Finally, I like that the leather has more of a distressed, matte look than a shiny look.

Vintage yellow NBL jacket paired nicely with black leather pants

This vintage 1990s Chanel-style creamy yellow leather jacket by North Beach Leather (size 6) sold for it's starting bid of $49.99.  It would make a great "leather suit" look paired with a matching skirt or pants, the seller went for a slightly edgier look by modeling it with some sharp black leather pants. While I'd normally think the gold toggle closures were distracting, they give this jacket a very rich feel.

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots - best deal ever at $130?!

Without a doubt, the best deal I've ever seen on a pair of Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" black leather OTK riding boots, which sold for their starting bid of $129.99.  The seller had previously listed these several times, lowering the price from $199.99.  Even though they were a popular size 8.5, they showed some wear, especially a large knick on the toe area of the right boot.  Also, some small knicks on the heel of each boot.  Still, someone got a great deal on some of my current favorite boots.

Stunning vintage leather opera gloves

These stunning caramel-colored leather opera gloves in a size 8 sold for their Buy It Now price of $109.99.  The seller stated that these were vintage 1960s, unworn, still attached at the cuffs, silk-lined, and made in Italy.  Measuring an impressive 28" long, they appear to be shoulder-length on the model.  If these had been in black, I would have snapped them up for myself!
