eBay promoting leather pants on its home page

I found it very interesting that eBay is promoting leather pants as part of their fall fashion feature. If leather pants are really "in" again this season, it's news to me. Other than skinny real leather pants, which are often overpriced, it would definitely be nice to see classy leather jeans make a return again this season.

I also found eBay's recommendation about "for a dose of rock and roll at the office" interesting. My question is "Have you ever worn leather pants to work?" If so, what did you pair them with and what kind of reaction did you get from your co-workers?

Vintage 1980s black leather OTK boots

A seller in Milan, Italy sold these vintage 1980s black leather over-the-knee boots for $26.34. These boots were listed as a UK 5, which translates to a US 7.5.

Although I'm not sure if the leather was textured or just looks wrinkled, I really like the clean lines of these boots with their straight shafts, no zippers and spiked heels.

Vakko black leather motorcycle chic

Speaking of deals, this stunning Vakko black leather motorcycle jacket (size S) sold for only $14.50. Knowing original Vakko prices, I'd guess original retail on this was close to $500.

This versatile "motorcycle chic" jacket would look great paired with everything from jeans and boots to a skirt and pumps.

A deal on a classic leather trench

Someone got a good deal on what appears to be a lambskin leather coat in a very classic style by Maxima for $49.99. For a size small, the seller said it was very roomy and would fit up to a size 10. Although it's shown belted, it doesn't have belt loops, which was kind of a turn-off for me, as it would be very easy to misplace the belt. No buttons either, so if it's not worn belted, it doubles as a swing coat. However, I especially like the classic long notch collar and clean lines.

Neiman Marcus genuine leather leggings

eBay leather seller "rocannalea" has recently sold a few pair of Neiman Marcus genuine leather leggings. They were listed with a starting bid of $75.00 and a Buy It Now price of $150.00. I saw two pairs sell, both a size large and both New With Tags, one for $91.00 and the last pair for $153.50 (higher than the original Buy It Now price).

I remember seeing these last season on Neiman Marcus' website and thinking they were some of the nicest, and most reasonably priced, genuine leather leggings I had ever seen. I think the original full retail was close to $300 and they got down to just under $200 at the end of the season. As these were a previous season item and the seller had multiple pairs to sell, I had to wonder if some showed up on Neiman's clearance website lastcall.com.

Of course, great modeling as always by the seller, although I would like to see how they looked tucked into boots (and I've seen the seller model some great boots!). Still, they look great paired with the belted white top and sexy black pumps with metal heels. A great look for a holiday gathering!

It's nice to see some high-quality, genuine leather leggings offered on eBay at a decent price.

Deals on classic black leather dress boots

Some great deals recently on classic black leather knee-high boots with spiked heels and pointed toes from eBay seller "alaskabush90."

These size 10 Nine West "Blondey" boots were never worn outside and sold for $31.00.



However, the real deal was on these Ralph Lauren boots which were worn twice and sold for $19.99.

A deal on Nordstrom long leather gloves

Someone got a deal on some nice long leather gloves offered by eBay glove seller "junkonsale." These Nordstrom wine-colored long leather gloves with a braided pattern sold for only $51.00, a good deal considering they're a popular size 8.

North Beach Leather military style dress

This stunning North Beach Leather military style dress sold for its starting bid of $389.99. Despite appearing slightly wrinkled, the dress appears to be in mint condition. I'm sure that being an attractive size medium and classic black leather helped with the high bid this item received.

Between the double-breasted styling, gold piping detail, and brass covered snaps, the attention to detail on this dress is amazing. This dress is definitely a wearable work of art!

Vintage 1980s North Beach Leather jumpsuit

This rare vintage 1980s Alicia Herrera for North Beach Leather jumpsuit sold for its Buy It Now price of $224. Listed as a size small, it looks roomy and very comfortable. It's also amazing to see how different it looks worn with a belt and then unbelted.

While the leather appears to be some of the softest I've ever seen for a leather jumpsuit, I might prefer a stand-up collar and a black zipper instead of buttons. Also, it would have been nice to see it modeled with a wide black leather belt and some spiky sandals or ankle boots.

Classic Sergio Rossi over-the-knee boots

Although these size 36 boots didn't get any bids at their starting bid of $174.99 from a seller in Germany, the style of these Sergio Rossi black leather OTK boots is a personal favorite. It reminds me of similar Dolce & Gabbana as well as Casadei boots which rarely appear on eBay.


I especially like the sleek narrow shafts, spiky heels, and pointy toes.

A $20 deal on a vintage North Beach Leather dress

Another deal, this time on a vintage 1980s North Beach Leather black dress with knit inserts.
Even though the seller posted pictures of a few nicks and scratches, someone got a real deal on this size small dress for only $20.50!
