More great vintage leather pant suits

eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some unusual leather pieces. This post will focus on leather pant suits!

This racer style black leather suit by Nigel Wearing sold for $127.50.  Although I'm not a fan of the bronze detailing, I really like the belted, elasticized waist and high collar. This size medium outfit is just the right blend of biker chic combined with sleek high-tech lines.

Although I've never been a fan of silver leather, this nice Lillie Rubin pant suit sold for a nice round $100.00.  For as much as the suit itself looks like cruise wear, I really like the style of the jacket, especially the double-breasted styling, padded shoulders and the high collar.  I also like the high-waist styling of the pants.  I'd definitely snap up this piece if it became available in black leather!

Great vintage 1980s leather power suits sell well!

eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some unusual leather pieces. This post will focus on power leather skirt suits!

This goregous Jean Claude Jitrois yellow leather suit sold for a very well-deserving $305.00!  This stunning suit was marked a size 40 and measured around a medium.  I especially like the oversized collar, although I wish the seller would have pictured it with the collar turned up.  The waist belt detail is very stylish too, almost like a corset with the way it fastens in the back.  This would look great paired with a wide brimmed black hat, black pumps, a black clutch purse and some stylish black leather gauntlet gloves.

This vintage Erez red hot leather suit was practically a deal at $112.73!  This size S/M suit features some very new wave styling and like the yellow suit above, would look great paired with black accessories.

Someone got a deal on this bright green North Beach Leather suit in a size 7/8 for only $86.23.  Although not my favorite style, this should be very well-made of buttery soft leather given that it's from North Beach Leather. The huge peplum just screams vintage 1980s!

Finally, this vintage Issey Miyake brown (taupe?) leather bomber-style suit in a medium size sold for an impressive $294.99.  Although the jacket is a little too boxy for me, I really like the style of the skirt with its high-waist detailing.  In fact, had the skirt been my size and in black, I would have put in a good bid.  This would look great paired with some black or dark brown riding-style boots.

My favorite piece was this sleek leather catsuit in a beautiful navy color, which sold for a deserving $285.00. I especially like the high collar, combination of buttons and zippers, and the belt and pocket detail around the waist.  No tags, so I wonder if it was custom made, and the measurements appeared to fit a size medium.  This piece has just the right mix of military and high-tech styling.  Without a doubt, one of the nicest leather jumpsuits I've seen on eBay!

This ivory leather jumpsuit sold for an impressive $256.08.  I especially like it worn open with the collar turned up.  For being vintage ivory leather, it shows no discoloration and looks absolutely pristine!  Sizing on this appears to be somewhere between a small and medium.  If you wanted to try to pull off leather in the summer, this would be a great look!

A summer deal on Wild Pair crotch-high boots in excellent condition!

Although they're a small size 6.5, someone got a good deal on these excellent condition Wild Pair crotch-high boots for $65.07.  Unfortunately, I was outbid by $1 on these very nice boots!

It's kind of unusual to see these tall, thick leather boots offered in the summer.  If you had to wear in the summer, they would look great paired with a pair of cut-off denim shorts!

A real deal on a North Beach Leather biker-style black leather dress

Even in a size small, someone got a real deal on this rare biker-style North Beach Leather dress for only $71.  What makes this dress rare is the unusually large zippers, which are hardly ever seen on a dress this style.  And the modeling is outstanding!

So it's interesting that this same exact dress, unmodeled, even in a size Extra Small, sold for an impressive $182.50, likely because "North Beach Leather" was in the title.

Some real deals on my new favorite boot style!

Someone got a real deal on my new favorite style of boot on eBay.  These size 7 Candela "Cloti" black leather OTK boots with stacked heels sold for only $43!  Talk about a steal, especially since they originally retailed for $517.00 and were NEW WITH BOX!  These boots were listed with a Buy It Now price of $196.46.

I especially like the vintage style of these over-the-knee boots complete with stacked heels, buckle details, and the ability to wear them cuffed or uncuffed.  These would look amazing paired with skinny jeans and a black leather jacket.

Apparently, there are real deals to be found on these stunning boots as these size 8 boots, WORN ONCE by the seller, sold for only $39.99.

Now, just to find a pair in my size!

A deal on high-end designer black leather opera gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Tory Burch long black leather opera gloves for $80.  These size 7.5 gloves measured an impressive 22.5" long.  The seller stated that original retail on these lightly worn gloves was $225.

As nice as these gloves appear, I'm surprised that a pair of designer gloves would have the seam across the glove, which is usually an indicator of less expensive gloves.  I'm not sure why, but the horizontal seam across the glove is usually a dealbreaker for me.
