Whereas a recent sale for these Ann Demeuelemeester extra long lambskin leather opera gloves sold for $299, this pair sold for an even more impressive $325.

Designer gloves seem to sell especially well during the holiday season, and this pair was no exception!

This size 8 pair was listed as NWOT and came with the original dust bags.  The stock photo is nice, but it would have been even nicer to see these modeled by the actual seller!

Vintage Wild Pair black leather crotch-boots make a rare appearance in NEW condition

The vintage Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots made a rare appearance on eBay again this morning.  They're only listed with a Buy It Now price of $399.99 plus shipping, and rightfully so, they're a size 10 and appear to be in mint, unworn condition.  The only thing that might be better is having the original box!

These do appear to be in amazing condition - freshly polished and with pristine sole treads and new heel tips.

As someone who has bought and sold these boots on eBay, I've seen them go as high as $425, especially during the holiday selling season.  My best experience selling these boots was a size 8 pair, new without tags, which I sold for $303 back in 2012.  About the only Wild Pair style that fetches more than these is their chap boots.

I'll be glad to report back to see if and how quickly these boots sell for their current Buy It Now price of $399.

UPDATE: As of 10/26, about four days after the auction began, these sold for their Buy It Now price of $399.99.  Kudos to the seller for getting a very impressive price for these rare boots in new condition!

AMAZING.. BRAND NEW! SIZE 10! A lot of Wild Pair collectors consider the WP crotch boots to be the most desirable of all the Wild Pair vintage boots. What makes this pair even more special is the fact these are like brand new and have never been worn only tried on! Also, the large size (10) make these super rare. Larger sizes in most Wild Pair boots are very hard to come by. The leather on these is unbelievable! Buttery soft, slinky and smooth. Pull on. They are longgg! 35 inches in total length! 4” stiletto heels and 22” circumference at the top. Rear gusset at the top allows for ease of sliding these babies on and also provides that desired sexy look! They can be worn ultra high, scrunched or folded at the top. The black sole protectors on the bottoms are original and still brand new without a scuff because these have never stepped foot outside. I had the heel taps replaced just due to the age of the unused original taps. Please keep in mind Wild Pair boots tend to run a bit small so know your size in Wild Pair. I consider these a “holy grail” type find and I’m on the fence about letting these beauties go so this listing may not be up very long! An off-season deal on Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" thigh-high boots

Someone got a deal on these size 7.5 Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots for their starting bid of $199. These new without tags (NWOT) boots had a pricey Buy It Now price of $599, close to their original retail.

Kudos to the seller for some nice photography of some of my all-time favorite boots!

Extra long black leather opera gloves still strong sellers

These 30" long black leather opera gloves in a size large received an impressive 37 bids and sold for $94.00.  They were listed as "new without tags" so I'd be very curious as to the brand and quality.

Some holiday deals on high-quality long black leather gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" continues to offer some exceptional quality long black leather gloves for sale.

At $34.00, someone got a stellar deal on these size medium, new without tags, long black leather gloves by Cache.  The photo collage is a nice touch as well!



These stunning 27" long black leather opera gloves by Fernando Berlin were another deal at $89.99. If these new with box gloves had been larger than a size medium, I would have put in a bid!

These vintage Bergdorf Goodman Italian leather opera gloves sold for $142.99.  These 24" inch gloves were a size 8 and silk lined...nice!

In true opera glove style, these featured a mosquetaire button-opening at the wrists.

The seller said these were purchased at an estate sale in Los Angeles.  I'd love to go to an estate sale and come across some stunning gloves like these!

Nordstrom long black leather gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Nordstrom long black leather gloves for $90.

These 21.5" gloves were a size medium / 7.5 and new without tags. This is the style from a few years back as opposed to Nordstrom's newer long leather gloves which feature a mosquetaire opening at the wrist and top-stitching detail at the opening. Of the two, I prefer this plain style.

Dents long black leather opera gloves

eBay glove seller "junkonsale" sold these Dents long black leather gloves for $102.50.

These 24" long gloves were a size medium (7.5) and new without tags. These "made in England" gloves normally retail for near $200 US.

These gloves have great details in the buttons and stitch work.

Never-worn Wild Pair crotch boots sell for $130

A new listing for a pair of Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots recently appeared in my eBay mailbox. They were listed with a starting bid of $99 and a Buy It Now bid of $180 with free shipping. The boots were a size 7 and the seller said she was selling them for a friend who had never worn them. The seller said her friend bought them in France (the French have great taste in boots!) and stored them in her closet for many years. The seller said she had new heel tips installed and had the bottoms colored black as recommended by the shoe repair shop. I have to admit, this does make them look much classier!

Some buyer got a good deal on a pair of never-worn, classic black leather Wild Pair boots, with some extra TLC given to the heels and soles. These boots sold for $129.57, $50.00 below their Buy It Now Option of $180.00.

Nordstrom black leather opera gloves

These Nordstrom black leather opera gloves are from their 2010 and 2011 collection, but as the seller had two pairs to sell, makes me wonder if they're available at the Nordstrom Rack outlet stores. These gloves are currently available on the Nordstrom website for $168.00.

Both listings were for pairs new-without-tags. The size medium pair sold for $112.50 while the large pair sold for an impressive $135.50. Interesting as both pairs sold to buyers in the UK.

Kudos to the seller for some very nice photography and modeling!

A deal on black leather jumpsuits

If the listing was accurate, someone got a real deal on this women's size medium Jeanette Andral black leather jumpsuit for $51.00. It was listed as "new without tags" and an original retail price of $1,000. Although I've never heard of the brand/designer, the leather looks decent and has some very nice basic styling. I think it could be enhanced with a matching wide black leather belt.

The same seller sold this men's size XL Jeanette Andral black leather jumpsuit for $88.87. Again, another "new without tags" item with an original retail price of $1,000.

The only real difference I can tell in the two styles is that the men's has a much more desirable black zipper as opposed to the silver zipper on the women's version.

It would be nice to see those modeled to see how they look on an actual person.
