Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots perform extremely well in a large size

Swiss boot seller "bootshopmauro" fetched one of the best prices I've seen for Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots lately - $538!  I attribute this to the excellent condition and especially the rare large size 42 (US 11.5).  These boots measure an impressive 27.5" tall and the seller stated that these were new, never worn.

What's interesting is that these are actually labeled "Stuart Weitzman for Russell Bromley" in London.

Extra long black leather opera gloves still strong sellers

These 30" long black leather opera gloves in a size large received an impressive 37 bids and sold for $94.00.  They were listed as "new without tags" so I'd be very curious as to the brand and quality.

A deal on a trendy black leather moto-style jacket

Someone got a great deal on this very trendy black leather moto-style jacket by Bod & Christensen.  This size Large jacket sold for only $66.00 plus inexpensive $5.25 shipping!  Identical jackets by this maker are currently listed for $200-$300 on eBay.  Even though it was pre-owned, it appears to be in excellent condition. 

I especially love the high-zip neck and the totally different looks that can be created by zipping the coat to different heights.  Knowing that it went for a real deal, I wish I would have put in a bid on this trendy leather jacket!  It would look amazing paired with skinny jeans and tall leather boots!

Dsquared2 smooth black leather gauntlet gloves make a rare appearance on eBay

Although I'd hoped these wouldn't sell and would be relisted at a lower price, these Dsquared2 black lamb leather cashmere-lined gauntlet gloves sold for $241.37.  A seller in Edinburgh, United Kingdom offered these size Medium gloves for sale.

There is another pair currently listed on eBay in a size large, but they're black suede with a smooth black leather cuff.  The seller just dropped the Buy It Now price from $190 to $145.  While it's tempting, I'd really like to have these in the all smooth black leather.

Apparently, it's hard to get a photo of these modeled in black, although the brown look very nice, too!

A Nine West military-style leather jacket for $10!

Speaking of deals, this Nine West belted black leather jacket with military styling sold for only $10 plus $6 shipping.  As this was offered in a size Large, I wish I would have bid on it for this price, as it appears to be in excellent condition.
