Dsquared2 smooth black leather gauntlet gloves make a rare appearance on eBay

Although I'd hoped these wouldn't sell and would be relisted at a lower price, these Dsquared2 black lamb leather cashmere-lined gauntlet gloves sold for $241.37.  A seller in Edinburgh, United Kingdom offered these size Medium gloves for sale.

There is another pair currently listed on eBay in a size large, but they're black suede with a smooth black leather cuff.  The seller just dropped the Buy It Now price from $190 to $145.  While it's tempting, I'd really like to have these in the all smooth black leather.

Apparently, it's hard to get a photo of these modeled in black, although the brown look very nice, too!

More great vintage leather pant suits

eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some unusual leather pieces. This post will focus on leather pant suits!

This racer style black leather suit by Nigel Wearing sold for $127.50.  Although I'm not a fan of the bronze detailing, I really like the belted, elasticized waist and high collar. This size medium outfit is just the right blend of biker chic combined with sleek high-tech lines.

Although I've never been a fan of silver leather, this nice Lillie Rubin pant suit sold for a nice round $100.00.  For as much as the suit itself looks like cruise wear, I really like the style of the jacket, especially the double-breasted styling, padded shoulders and the high collar.  I also like the high-waist styling of the pants.  I'd definitely snap up this piece if it became available in black leather!

Vintage black leather thigh boots with metal stiletto heels

These vintage black leather thigh-high boots with sexy metal stiletto heels were listed with a Buy It Now price of $175.00, but the seller accepted a best offer, so the final price wasn't revealed.  However, during the holiday buying rush, I've seen these sell for upwards of $250.  Although the seller couldn't locate a brand name, these remind me of vintage Frederick's of Hollywood boots.

The leather on these size 11 boots looks amazing and if you could handle the 5" stiletto heels, would be a great addition to a boot collection.  Very nicely modeled with bright tights, these would also look great paired with a black leather jacket and skinny jeans.  Regardless of how you wear them, these would definitely be attention-getting boots!

A deal on some sexy Wild Pair thigh boots

These size 9 vintage Wild Pair boots were originally listed with a starting bid of $95 and Buy It Now price of $125. When they didn't sell, the seller re-listed them and they were snapped up for $79.95. Especially with free shipping offered by the seller, I would have snapped them up at this price, too!

One of my all-time favorite Wild Pair styles, I especially like the pull-on styling, scroll detail, and sexy stiletto heels. And the leather sheen on these is great!

The seller said these were worn only a few times for Halloween parties. Interesting how sexy boots like this sometimes are worn only as part of a Halloween costume.

Aldo "rock and roll" leather thigh boots

Keeping with the theme of photos not oriented correctly, my favorite Aldo "rock and roll" boots, in a size 6, sold for only $66.00. (I can't help but wonder if this was because the seller only offered expensive high flat rate shipping of $25.00 in the US and Canada, even though the seller lived in Canada).

I've always liked the stud detailing and pencil-thin stiletto heels on these sexy boots. I call these "rock and roll" boots because I think they're the perfect concert date look paired with skinny jeans and a black leather jacket.

Never mind the photo - they're Dolce boots!

It drives me crazy when eBay sellers can't bother or don't know how to orient their photos correctly. Even so, these size 8.5 Dolce & Gabbana black suede OTK boots sold for an impressive $400. I've wanted these boots in smooth leather for years and would be willing to pay a premium price for the right size.

Some very nice vintage boot modeling

Some very nice modeling on these vintage size 6.5 or 7 black leather thigh-high boots. They look great paired with the denim mini-skirt. These boots sold for their opening bid of $99.99.

I've always REALLY liked these cuffed black leather thigh boots by the Wild Pair. Clean lines, pull-on styling, nice spiked heels, and good cuffability. Classic Wild Pair boots are still so popular that even in a very small size 5, these still managed to sell for $135.

Italian black leather spike heel boots

It's nice to see a pair of vintage Italian black leather boots fetch a good price on eBay, especially at the end of June. These size 9 boots by Ital sold for an impressive $135. Although the leather doesn't look as nice, the style reminds me of the Lenni and Sesto Meucci boots I like so well.
