Seller "newlookvintage" is back with some great, unusual leather pieces, most of which have sold for impressive prices.
This vintage 1970s brown leather cape / cloak sold for an impressive $255.00. The draping on this is gorgeous and the seller indicated the leather was buttery soft and in pristine condition. There is a lot of leather in this piece! This would have been very tempting in classic black! This would look stunning paired with a beret and long leather gloves.
Someone got a deal on this very nice red leather pantsuit, which surprisingly sold for only $56.00. I especially like the high collar and belted detail, which definitely gives it a military feel. Red leather is sexy, but hard to pull off in this volume, at least here in the States. I can see looking chic in this walking the streets of Florence or Paris. Again, this would have been very tempting in classic black.
In contrast, she sold this gorgeous vintage 1980s red leather blazer-style jacket in a size 8 by Vakko for $122.50. Definitely more versatile and timeless than the red leather piece above, and the leather looks buttery soft. The cut on this is stunning and I especially like the notched, pointed collar. This piece is very structured and would look great paired with a turtleneck, skinny jeans, and riding boots.
Speaking of structured, this vintage 1980s leather peplum jacket by Marc Laurent Paris sold for $71.25. I really like the exaggerated collar on this piece as well as the padded shoulders and the super-tailored waist. However, I do think this look is hard to pull off unless you are tall and super thin. Another piece that would look great with a turtleneck, skinny jeans, and riding boots.
Catsuits and long gloves, thigh boots and trenchcoats...these are a few of my favorite things!

More great vintage leather outfits from "newlookvintage"
eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed more vintage 1980s
leather items which continued to sell very well.
This unusual black leather suit with chain detail by Junko Shimada sold for a deserving $280! Although I'm not a fan of the embossed alligator pattern, the chain details on this are exquisite. Talk about a power leather suit!
This vintage 1980s Jean Claude Jitrois red leather pencil skirt in a size 40 (28" waist) sold for an impressive $168.50. At 26" long, this is the perfect length for wearing with sexy boots! A simple leather skirt with very clean lines never goes out of style!
Finally, this vintage 1980s Begedor Italy metallic blue leather skirt suit sold for an impressive $145.02. Another stunner, especially how the fitted waist makes for a very tailored look.

More great vintage leather pant suits
eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s
leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some
unusual leather pieces. This post will focus on leather pant suits!
This racer style black leather suit by Nigel Wearing sold for $127.50. Although I'm not a fan of the bronze detailing, I really like the belted, elasticized waist and high collar. This size medium outfit is just the right blend of biker chic combined with sleek high-tech lines.
Although I've never been a fan of silver leather, this nice Lillie Rubin pant suit sold for a nice round $100.00. For as much as the suit itself looks like cruise wear, I really like the style of the jacket, especially the double-breasted styling, padded shoulders and the high collar. I also like the high-waist styling of the pants. I'd definitely snap up this piece if it became available in black leather!

Great vintage 1980s leather power suits sell well!
eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s
leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some
unusual leather pieces. This post will focus on power leather skirt suits!
This goregous Jean Claude Jitrois yellow leather suit sold for a very well-deserving $305.00! This stunning suit was marked a size 40 and measured around a medium. I especially like the oversized collar, although I wish the seller would have pictured it with the collar turned up. The waist belt detail is very stylish too, almost like a corset with the way it fastens in the back. This would look great paired with a wide brimmed black hat, black pumps, a black clutch purse and some stylish black leather gauntlet gloves.
This vintage Erez red hot leather suit was practically a deal at $112.73! This size S/M suit features some very new wave styling and like the yellow suit above, would look great paired with black accessories.
Someone got a deal on this bright green North Beach Leather suit in a size 7/8 for only $86.23. Although not my favorite style, this should be very well-made of buttery soft leather given that it's from North Beach Leather. The huge peplum just screams vintage 1980s!
Finally, this vintage Issey Miyake brown (taupe?) leather bomber-style suit in a medium size sold for an impressive $294.99. Although the jacket is a little too boxy for me, I really like the style of the skirt with its high-waist detailing. In fact, had the skirt been my size and in black, I would have put in a good bid. This would look great paired with some black or dark brown riding-style boots.

An eBay seller lists some great vintage leather outfits!
eBay seller "newlookvintage" recently listed several vintage 1980s leather items and did very well in fetching some nice prices for some unusual leather pieces. Let's start with the jumpsuits!
My favorite piece was this sleek leather catsuit in a beautiful navy color, which sold for a deserving $285.00. I especially like the high collar, combination of buttons and zippers, and the belt and pocket detail around the waist. No tags, so I wonder if it was custom made, and the measurements appeared to fit a size medium. This piece has just the right mix of military and high-tech styling. Without a doubt, one of the nicest leather jumpsuits I've seen on eBay!
This ivory leather jumpsuit sold for an impressive $256.08. I especially like it worn open with the collar turned up. For being vintage ivory leather, it shows no discoloration and looks absolutely pristine! Sizing on this appears to be somewhere between a small and medium. If you wanted to try to pull off leather in the summer, this would be a great look!
