Rare Wild Pair chap boots...brand new in box!

These rare vintage "Wild Pair" style black leather chap boots by Euro Club in a small size 6.5 sold for $299.  The seller stated these were Brand New in Box and not even tried on.  The style, appropriately, is "Whip."

As the bottom photo shows, I really think these could have sold for a lot more had they been a larger size.  Or possibly if the seller had offered international shipping.

The seller's text says it best:
These could possibly be a pair of the rarest chap boots on the planet. These are vintage, black leather, BRAND NEW IN THE BOX Euro Club by Sebastian Platto chap boots made for and sold at Wild Pair stores back in the 80's. Not only are they brand new never been worn, I don't believe these have ever been tried on! Very similar to the rare, highly sought after and desirable Wild Pair chap boots that have recently sold as high as $625-675 as evidenced in pic 12. Those are sold for prices not listed prices and they were not new with the box like this pair. I believe these Euro Club boots to be higher end and even more rare then the Wild Pair version. In fact, I have never seen another pair of these anywhere or for sale. These would be great to add to a collection, used as cosplay or would be the ultimate conversation piece if used as motorcycle chap boots! Stunning Gianvito Rossi black leather OTK boots sell for $1,000

These Gianvito Rossi black leather OTK boots with stiletto heels sold for their Buy It Now price of $1,000. The seller stated that these brand new in box size 39.5/9.5 boots were bought directly from net-a-porter.com for $1,790 and came in the original box with dust bags and inserts.   These were listed by boot seller "livefire" who continues to show their excellent taste in boots!

These boots have been near the top of my wish list for awhile now!  I especially like the clean lines, stiletto heels, and sexy pointed toes.  That and the luxurious leather makes these pretty close to the "perfect boot" style for me!  These would look amazing at the office paired with a tweed pencil skirt as well as a night out on the town paired with skinny jeans and a black leather jacket.























As an added bonus, the seller posted several online photos of these stunning boots being modeled!

Great glove sale and even better modeling

A high-end glove seller on eBay recently sold these stunning Lauren Urstadt black leather opera gloves for a nice $154.99. They pretty much meet all of my qualifications for the perfect leather opera glove: lambskin, size 8, 24" long, silk-lined, and brand new. With the elastic gathering at the wrist, they remind me of the Classic Leatherwear gloves I've owned in the past.

I think that the seller stated it best: You are bidding on a gorgeous and ultra sexy pair of brand new, Lauren Urstadt long black lambskin leather opera gloves, size 8. The gloves are still attached by the original string, still has that new leather smell and retail for $250 on Lauren Urstadt's website.

A deal on Biondini chap boots

I'm amazed that these Biondini chap boots, even in a size 6, only sold for $61.00, especially since they were BRAND NEW!

Interesting, as they were listed once and apparently the sale didn't go through, so they were re-listed and ended up selling for the exact same price. I wonder if it was the same high bidder on both auctions?

I've never been a big fan of patent leather. I'd like to think that if these had been in the beautiful soft black leather Biondini is known for, they would have sold for much, much more.
