Vintage brown leather thigh-high boots sell well!

These vintage brown leather thigh-high boots received three bids and sold for an impressive $300.  These boots were a size 9 and featured high stacked heels.

The seller stated these boots were likely from the 1970s or 1980s.  These would look great paired with skinny jeans!

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots sell for $125!

Even with pricey $23 shipping, someone got a good deal on these worn Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" black leather thigh-high boots for $125.  These were also a nice large size 40 / US 9.5M.

I originally thought the high shipping had to do with the fact that these came with their original blue Stuart Weitzman box.  However, the listing stated that the box was not included.  Sorry, but I think picturing the box in the listing is misleading if you then state it's not included.  Also, why the $23 shipping then?

Although these boots had some wear, they're about $75 cheaper than I've seen most pairs of this style sell for lately.  For $149, a great way to get into a pair of some of my all-time favorite boots!

However, I am curious why in this first photo does one boot look several inches taller than the other?!

Another pair of Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots sells for $200

These Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" thigh-high boots in black suede sold for $200.  These size 8.5 were listed as new, although it appears from the photos that these were lightly worn.  It could have been from the modeling, but these does appear to be some debris on the soles.

Red hot vintage Wild Pair thigh boots sell for $150

eBay boot seller "marmfrut" sold these vintage 1980s Wild Pair red leather thigh-high boots for their starting price of $149.99.

These size 7 boots were made in Chile and featured pull-on styling with rear lacing detail.  Except for a scuff on the toes, these appeared to be in excellent shape.  The seller did state that they had a slightly musty smell, which unfortunately, isn't unusual for vintage boots not stored properly.

If I'm reading my Wild Pair label coding correctly, these boots originally sold for $149 which means they've held their value for nearly 40 years!

Another pair of Wild Pair crotch-high boots listed by the same seller, only these are pre-owned

Interesting as the same seller has the Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots, pre-owned, in a size 7.5 listed with a Buy It Now Price of $199.99.

These also appear to be in excellent condition for the price.

UPDATE 10/23: About 36 hours after they were listed, these sold for their Buy It Now price of $199.99.  Although a small size 7.5, someone got a nice deal on a classic pair of vintage boots.

Vintage Wild Pair black leather crotch-boots make a rare appearance in NEW condition

The vintage Wild Pair black leather crotch-high boots made a rare appearance on eBay again this morning.  They're only listed with a Buy It Now price of $399.99 plus shipping, and rightfully so, they're a size 10 and appear to be in mint, unworn condition.  The only thing that might be better is having the original box!

These do appear to be in amazing condition - freshly polished and with pristine sole treads and new heel tips.

As someone who has bought and sold these boots on eBay, I've seen them go as high as $425, especially during the holiday selling season.  My best experience selling these boots was a size 8 pair, new without tags, which I sold for $303 back in 2012.  About the only Wild Pair style that fetches more than these is their chap boots.

I'll be glad to report back to see if and how quickly these boots sell for their current Buy It Now price of $399.

UPDATE: As of 10/26, about four days after the auction began, these sold for their Buy It Now price of $399.99.  Kudos to the seller for getting a very impressive price for these rare boots in new condition!

Meanwhile, here's the seller's text:
AMAZING.. BRAND NEW! SIZE 10! A lot of Wild Pair collectors consider the WP crotch boots to be the most desirable of all the Wild Pair vintage boots. What makes this pair even more special is the fact these are like brand new and have never been worn only tried on! Also, the large size (10) make these super rare. Larger sizes in most Wild Pair boots are very hard to come by. The leather on these is unbelievable! Buttery soft, slinky and smooth. Pull on. They are longgg! 35 inches in total length! 4” stiletto heels and 22” circumference at the top. Rear gusset at the top allows for ease of sliding these babies on and also provides that desired sexy look! They can be worn ultra high, scrunched or folded at the top. The black sole protectors on the bottoms are original and still brand new without a scuff because these have never stepped foot outside. I had the heel taps replaced just due to the age of the unused original taps. Please keep in mind Wild Pair boots tend to run a bit small so know your size in Wild Pair. I consider these a “holy grail” type find and I’m on the fence about letting these beauties go so this listing may not be up very long! Last 4 pics are not the actual boots, they are just to show how they look on cuffed and uncuffed.

And some modeled photos pulled from somewhere else online...

Not sure that I've ever seen these photos, but this all black leather outfit is stunning!

Stunning faux leather thigh-high boots that look much more expensive!

eBay boot seller "bootshopmauro" sold these stunning Simmi London black leather thigh-high boots for $186, especially impressive considering these are faux leather!  These size 9 boots were new with box and featured 4.5 inch stiletto heels and an impressive 28" tall upper.

Although I've never heard of this brand, I especially like the clean lines.  The elastic gore at the top of the shaft is a nice touch, too.

I'll have to admit that even I thought these were real leather boots, so am even more impressed at the price these fetched!  These boots originally retailed for $68!!!

These Simmi boots are modeled in nude color here and it appears that this style is Karrueche.
