Vintage white leather thigh-high boots from Frederick's sell for nearly $100 more than their original price

These vintage while leather thigh-high boots with metal heels by Frederick's of Hollywood sold for an impressive and deserving $250, even with pricey $21 shipping.  These boots were a size 9 and the seller stated she received them as a gift, but never wore them because she got pregnant.  She added that she planned to wear them for photo shoots.

Especially impressive is that the owner still had the original catalog listing and invoice from Frederick's of Hollywood, which has to be vintage 80s or 90s.

Given what these sell for now on eBay, it's hard to believe these incredible boots were only $129 at one time in the Frederick's catalog.

And we can see that the seller originally bought these in December 1993, so they will be a vintage 25-years old this year!

Vintage Italian black leather OTK boots by Piampiani sell for $100

These very nice vintage Italian black leather OTK boots sold for a deserving $100.  These boots were a size 40 / US 9 and nicely modeled.  They also had a full-length zipper running up the back of the shaft.  The quality of the leather looks exceptional and these boots were nicely modeled.

The flat heel and pointy toes on these would make a great addition to a musketeer or pirate costume for Halloween.

An inside view of these boots reveals they were made in Italy by Piampiani, a maker whose boots I've admired before.  Now I kind of wish I had bid on these!

As you can see from my previous post on these boots, this buyer got a real deal as a size 8.5 pair sold for nearly $225 almost ten years ago!

I also like how the seller modeled them not only with leggings, but with pants, albeit slightly baggy to wear tucked into boots.

A timeless black leather pencil skirt by Emanuel Ungaro

This gorgeous Emanuel Ungaro vintage leather pencil skirt sold for $39.99.  Listed as a size 4 but the measurements seem larger - 27.5" waist and 27" length.  I especially love the slim silhouette and the belt loops.

This would look stunning paired with black leather boots and a crisp white blouse!

One of the nicest leather skirts I've seen on eBay in a long time.

Vintage North Beach Leather trench coat sells for $340

The vintage Michael Hoban "North Beach Leather" trench coat was listed with a Buy It Now price of $339.99 but sold for its Best Offer price.  I wish eBay would reveal these Best Offer prices, but they don't.

Although a small size 3/4, this coat appears to be in excellent condition and nicely photographed on a mannequin.  It's one of the nicest leather trench coats I've seen for sale on eBay in quite awhile.

This coat features classic double-breasted styling with adjustable wrist straps.  Oh, and it looks stunning with the wide collar turned up.  Very spy chic!

The seller indicated it was from her personal collection and was only worn a few times.

Leather trench coats appear to be coming back in style and this one is definitely a very well-made investment piece which should last the lucky winner for years to come!

A vintage pair of boots with holes in them sells for what?!

File this one under "Are you kidding me?!"

An eBay seller listed these vintage OTK boots with a starting bid of $200.  I was sure she'd have to relist them with a lower starting price...but I was wrong.  These boots got three bids and sold for an amazing $411.00!  Why I'm so amazed is that the boots have holes in them - serious holes!

Yes, this looks like the mouth of a catfish!

Yes, they're a popular size 10 but it appears that someone has a fetish for "well worn" boots as the seller described in her auction title.

From the seller: these boots should have been thrown in the trash 25 years ago lol. they might be fixable. but more for the collector I think. this boot style was made by two lips in the early 90's. very rare today, they are just about all gone now over the years.

Otherwise, the boots were nicely modeled with leggings.  

Interesting, as there were apparently two different modeling sessions as in some photos, the model is wearing solid grey leggings and in others, patterned grey leggings.

A deal on sexy suede stiletto boots from Gianvito Rossi

Someone got a real deal on these super sexy stiletto suede boots by Italian designer Gianvito Rossi.  Even though these received an impressive 30 bids, these size 40.5 boots sold for only $162.49.  I've wanted this a similar boot from this designer for years, but in smooth leather.  I've never seen these listed anywhere below $500.

These boots featured sexy 4.5" stiletto heels and an impressive 28" overall height.  The soles have had rubber tread added and are in like new condition.  I'm not a fan of the rear lacing detail though.

 

Nicely-modeled OTK boots from a seller in France

A seller in France listed these nicely-modeled black leather OTK boots for approximately $384 USD.  Unfortunately, these size 38 boots by Veronique Branquinho didn't sell.
