Vintage 1980s Halston boots make a rare appearance

Someone snapped up these vintage 1980s Halston boots for their Buy It Now price of $27.99.  These boots rarely appear on eBay these days and I remember seeing them sell several years ago in the $100-$200 range.

These classic black leather dress boots are the first "real" boots I ever owned, having bought my pair at our local JC Penney Outlet Store for $18.99 in the early 1980s.  I thought these were a real deal as they originally retailed for $80.  A fashion find for someone on a college budget!

The leather on these boots was buttery soft and they had sexy spiked heels and nice almond toes. I remember they fit snug and they looked better with a skirt or dress than they did over jeans.

The size 8.5 boots in the auction were even the same size I bought back then.  Thought about buying these for a trip down memory lane!

Some of the original advertising for JC Penney's Halson line featured these boots, pictured on the model on the far right.

Someone gets vintage black leather thigh-high boots for less than $9!

For just $8.76 US, someone got an amazing deal on these vintage black leather thigh-high boots from a seller in Australia.  Even though they were a small size 7.5, they look like really decent boots with some wear.

I also liked how the seller modeled them nicely cuffed as well as uncuffed to show the different looks.  The style looks very much like vintage Pleaser boots.

At the low, low price these sold for, I'm pretty sure that shipping cost more than the actual purchase price!

A very sexy vintage black leather biker jacket from Express

This Express biker-style black leather jacket, which appears to be vintage, sold for a respectable $39.99.  The jacket was listed as a size M/L and the seller said it was only worn once.

The details in this jacket are amazing - the asymmetrical zipper pull, which is very popular right now, really sets the tone for the style of this jacket.  Then there's the rare zipper placement on the chest and shoulder.  The lower back is accented with two more zippers and six metal Express tags.  Finally, the epaulets are decorated with triangular metal studs.  I might also add that it looks great zipped up and unzipped and creates two very different looks, especially with the collar turned up.

I might have bid on this sexy jacket if I'd been more sure about the size.  I could definitely see wearing it with skinny jeans and boots on date nights!

A deal on sexy, spiky knee-high black leather boots from Stuart Weitzman

Speaking of deal on Stuart Weitzman boots, someone got a deal on these size 9.5 boots for only $68.07.  Goodwill in San Francisco listed these knee-high boots.  They're a classic style with sexy spiked heels and pointed toes - perfect for wearing with a skirt or sweater dress to the office in fall and winter!

Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" boots with original box sell for less than $130.

Someone got a very good deal on these size 7 Stuart Weitzman "Hilo" over-the-knee boots with their original box.  The auction started with a Buy It Now price of $150 and when the boots didn't sell, the seller lowered the BIN price to $130.  However, someone snagged these for a Best Offer, which meant they sold for less than $130.  I'm guessing the seller let them go for $100.  Even with pricey $17.80 shipping, this was a really good deal on these boots in a smaller size.  These boots did appear to have some scuffs and more wear on the soles than most boots in this style listed on eBay recently.

A nicely modeled leather trench sale from a favorite leather seller.

Even with pricey $28 shipping from Canada, for $75 someone got a decent deal on a very nice black leather trench coat by Tibor.  This size XS coat was sold by veteran leather seller "leatherbill" and as always from this seller, was very nicely modeled.

This leather trench meets all of the requirements for a classic trench style: double-breasted, epaulets, wrist strap detail, back vent, and a nice large collar.  I think a collar can be a dealbreaker on a leather trench, as the right one can be turned up to protect against the cold winter winds or to add an air of mystery to an already mysterious look.

Some very nice vintage OTK boots get relisted with some great modeling

After relisting them several times, eBay boot seller "livefire" finally sold these very nice over-the-knee boots for $63.07.  These size 8.5 boots were made by Santa Barbara and the seller indicated that they originally retailed for $175.00.

I think what helped the sale this time was that the seller posted several photos of the boots very nicely modeled.  She modeled them with a skirt to show off a great work look and with jeans to show off a great casual look.  A few of my favorite photos from this listing are below.  Enjoy!

From her past listings, this seller has excellent taste in sexy boots and shoes!
