Vintage Wild Pair boots still sell well

It's nice to see that a pair of vintage Wild Pair boots can still fetch a decent price. eBay boot seller "nunya-bidness" sold these vintage 1980s black leather thigh boots with grommet and lace detail for $103.49.

It probably helped that these boots were a popular size 8.5 and appear to be in very good condition.

Vintage OTK Italian stacked heel boots

It's no surprise that these vintage 1970s stacked heel OTK boots were a successful auction for eBay boot seller "nunya-bidness." These size 7 Italian-made burgundy boots by Carrano sold for a very impressive $165.50!

They appear to be in very good condition for such vintage boots and with the stitching detail and cuffability, it's no wonder these sold well. Of course, it goes without saying that these would look fabulous worn with a pair of skinny jeans tucked into them.

Rare studded boots snapped up using B-I-N

eBay boots seller "nunya-bidness" sold these rare M & D OTK seriously studded boots (size 9.5) for a very impressive $425.00 using Buy It Now.

These 30" tall boots with 5" studded stiletto heels would make the perfect "rock concert babe" accessory paired with a black leather jacket and skinny jeans.

Another Wild Pair work of art

Another Wild Pair "work of art" offered for sale by eBay boot seller nunya-bidness. These sleek, spike-heeled pull-on boots with the zig-zag design up the side sold for $128.50. Since these were a very attractive size 10 and one of my favorite Wild Pair styles, I wanted to bid, but not this much.

Judging from the rear view of these boots, if I was behind a woman walking in these stunners, I would be in a total "boot trance!"

Vintage biker style thigh boots sell for nearly $250!

I would have really liked to have won these extra tall 27" vintage 1970s biker-style boots, especially since they are a size 9.5. However, the bidding got too rich for me and this rare style of boots sold for a whopping $242.50!

I especially like them because they're masculine enough that I might be able to get away with wearing them on a fairly regular basis.

Talk about stomping around with attitude. In these boots, you could definitely kick some butt!

Unusual crotch boots sell for almost $200

eBay boot seller "nunya-bidness" scores again with an unusual pair of boots. Although they're not my style, these size 10.5 boots sold for an impressive $197.50.

At 34", they're crotch-high and have sexy gold metal stiletto heels. And they're made in Italy by Munari, so they're good quality. So, what's not to like?

For starters, I've never been a fan of the smooth and suede leather combination on boots. Do one or the other, but not both. While the gold star and stud detail is interesting (and screams vintage 1980s), I'm a purist and like my boots undecorated. Finally, what's with that checked pattern detail at the top? These boots actually look much better cuffed because it hides that pattern.

Don't get me wrong, these boots could be very sexy. Actually, they'd be stunning as part of a costume for a 1980s theme party. I can see them on a blonde with big hair wearing a black leather jacket with big shoulder pads, black knit catsuit, wide leather and metal belt. Nice!

Biondini OTK boots with chain decor

Although I could do without the chain decor, these Biondini over-the-knee boots are pretty incredible. As is typical with Biondini boots, I especially like the straight shaft, the clean lines (except for those chains!) and the sexy spiked heels. And the Italian leather just looks gorgeous!

I have to wonder if these chains clank against the boots when you walk in them? In my opinion, that's not necessarily a good thing.

Basic black leather thigh boots sell for $173.50

eBay boot seller nunya-bidness scores again by fetching $173.50 for this nice, but basic, pair of black leather thigh boots. They're size 7, 30" or crotch-high and made by Non Stop, a brand I'd never heard of before.

Vintage motorcycle crotch-high boots sell for $511!!!

Whoa! eBay seller nunya-bidness sold these size 8 vintage motorcycle boots for a whopping $511 to a bidder in France! They're custom-made of nice thick black leather and 30" tall with unusual pull-up metal rings at the top rear of the shaft. Although these are womens' boots, the styling is very unisex. These one-of-a-kind boots fetched a deservedly high price.

Town & Country OTK boots for $100

eBay seller "nunya-bidness" sold these classic Town & Country over-the-knee boots in a size 8 for the nice price of $100 even. As someone who's sold these boots on eBay before, they are the shorter, more conservative version of the classic Wild Pair crotch-high boot. Very nice vintage boots!

Another Wild Pair work of art

eBay seller "nunya-bidness" recently sold another of my favorite style of Wild Pair boots. These 32" crotch-high boots in a size 10 sold for $107.50. Nice pull-on style with sexy spiked heels and a subtle zig-zag design up the shaft. Even though the leather shows some wear spots, some buyer got a good deal on a very sexy pair of super tall boots!

Yet another great boot offering from eBay seller "nunya-bidness..."

One of my favorite styles of Wild Pair boots, these size 8.5 pull-on style boots sold for $142.50. As these appear to have great cuffs, I was a little disappointed that the seller didn't picture them cuffed. Still, a very sexy basic black leather thigh boot.

This style would remind me of the Nine West OTK boots sold by Macy's in the late 1980s. A classic boot that should never go out of style!

Wild Pair classic ruffle top "lingerie boots"

More boot hotness from eBay seller "nunya-bidness." Where does she get all of these great boots?!

Although I often think of these as Dolci's boots, the seller said these were Wild Pair. My guess is that Dolci's and Wild Pair were probably the same company at one time.

Probably because the lacing was coming unstitched from the top, these sexy size 9 boots only sold for $94.34. Because of the lacing, I've always thought these were the perfect "lingerie boots" and would look great paired with a sexy lace teddy or bodystocking.

Metal heel boots - outbid by $1.00!

I was outbid by $1.00 on these size 9 boots, which sold for $82.07. I've always wanted to try a pair of boots with metal heels, like the classic Frederick's of Hollywood style. The leather looks nice and soft, but I don't like the elasticized band near the top of the shaft. If these had been closer to the classic Frederick's style, I would have placed a higher bid. The seller said these were made in Germany.
